I’ve always said that as soon as triathlon stopped being fun, I would stop doing it. I think I’ve finally reached that point.
Taking in the scenery of the Blue Mountains and country NSW, this ride is picturesque, and brutal! Literally up hill the whole way. A total distance of 261km, with climbing elevation of 3226m. It takes ~4 hours to drive, and on our second attempt, 10:02:53 hours to ride.
Randonnee – noun. Of French origin, meaning ‘long journey’.
Bikebug hosts a Randonnee bike ride every year in Camden, which is a great opportunity for city slickers to go on a cycling adventure. Think 120km of rolling hills and country scenery.

Last time we met I had decided to go back to training. However training is not the right word, I have been exercising and loving every second of it. I have certainly found happiness again and a spirit of adventure through trying new activities, including corporate running, tennis and an inspiring acroyoga class
I landed in Kona 3 days ago, and it’s been nice to have a few days before all the hoards arrive to get acquainted with the Island. A business class […]
After what feels like an eternity, I am finally in taper time, and leave for Kona tomorrow! Amidst the chaos of packing, and purchasing last minute essentials, and finalising things […]
